OMBAC took on Pasadena RFC this weekend. Bouncing back from a tough loss to Belmont Shore, the beach boys pulled off a 47-0 victory over Pasadena. In the first half, Pasadena saw unrelenting offensive pressure of four tries scored from OMBAC. Although OMBAC’s forward pack was massively outweighed, they never lost a scrum or line-out and completely dominated the Pasadena scrum in one instance. OMBAC’s defense also showed great fortitude in goal-line defense with Pasadena meters from OMBAC’s try line. However, despite Pasadena’s best efforts, they came away with no points. OMBAC continued its physical dominance of the game into the second half, with an additional three tries being scored. Twenty minutes into the second half, the reserves were utilized, all of which continued to grind out the physical game, with Pasadena leaving the field scoreless.
